The conference focused on the significance of architecture and construction in addressing the climate crisis by integrating education, sustainability, and innovative approaches. Participants explored best practices for developing sustainable building skills and

examined the Academy’s vision for creating aesthetic, inclusive, and regenerative built environments across Europe. The event was co-organized by the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), InnovaWood, and UP IAM InnoRenew CoE as part of the UNESCO-UIA Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture program.
