A total of 68 votes were cast in favour of the candidate, Prof. Dr. Vito Vitrih. As the sole candidate, Prof. Dr. Vito Vitrih received 97.1% of the votes and has been elected as Director of UP IAM.
A formal resolution on the election results will be adopted by the UP IAM Scientific Council at its regular session, scheduled for 22 September 2025. At the same time, the Council will propose to the Rector of the University of Primorska to appoint Prof. Dr. Vito Vitrih as Director of UP IAM for the next term of office (24 December 2025 – 23 December 2029).
