At the event, first-year students network with each other and get to know senior students. Also university’s administrative and pedagogical staff join the event to network with students which gives the event a special mark.  WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE EVENT?  All the University of Primorska faculties and more than 40 local organizations, associations, institutions, and companies will present themselves and their possibilities for extracurricular activities for UP students.  Each booth prepared a fun activity that gets you a stamp on your “StartUP stamp collection card“ after you complete it. SportUP (official recreation for students of the UP) will take care of the fun sports activities (badminton, zorbing, “štrbunk”, …).   The location offers endless possibilities for lounging in the sun, so bring a picnic blanket or bath towel. We will take care of lunch. Since we support Zero Waste management, we encourage you to bring your bottles and lunch box.  SUSTAINABILITY As we support sustainability, we encourage our visitors to bring: water bottles (flask/bidon), as there will be drinking fountains from Rižanski vodovod for hydration; and a container for lunch/lunch boxes (to take food home if there is any left over).
