The idea of setting up a university store has been around at the university for several years, as such stores are widespread and almost obligatory at universities abroad. Due to UP’s strong international presence and frequent visits from abroad, there was a need and interest in buying UP-branded products at UP. The store is called nakUP, and the name was suggested and voted on by the university’s staff and students of the university.
The store is now hosted by the University Library, which is successfully managed by its director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jonatan Vinkler.
The bookstore nakUP is open during the library’s open hours from 8am to 4pm.
